| | Born in Canada on Sept. 18, 1915. Wolfe studied at the CSFA during the early 1930s. For five years she was married to artist David Slivka. Her name was Selzer at the time of her demise in Los Angeles on Jan. 10, 1979. Although she painted landscapes in watercolor and oil during the 1930s, she later specialized in ceramics while working with Peter Voulkos.
