A landscape painter, especially of the Texas Hill Country and often with figures, E Gordon West was born June 1, 1933 in Salt Lake City, Utah and studied at the Art Institute of Chicago and the University of Louisville, Kentucky, where he earned a B.S. degree in 1955.
A resident of San Antonio, he has been active in the Texas Watercolor Society from where he earned the O. George Pinca award. In 1985, he was Artist of the Year of the San Antonio Art League, and has also exhibited with Arts (showing 500 of 3476 characters). |
