| Born in Portland, ME on May 10, 1887. Edna Marrett studied at Vassar College, ASL in NYC, and Boston Museum School under Benson, Tarbell, and Hale. During WWI she was with the Red Cross in France where she met her husband-to-be, Fred Wilcocks. The couple made their home in Calgary, Canada where she taught art in the public schools. She moved to Altadena, CA in the early 1930s where she remained. She taught art at Pasadena's Flintridge School for Girls (1934) and at Anoakia School in Arcadia (showing 500 of 895 characters). |
