A plein air painter, her work reflects what she sees. At her home in Colorado or on her many travels to places around the world, Ellie Weakley captures images in oil or watercolor, portraits, buildings, coastal landscapes or exotic locales.
With a history degree from the University of Colorado, she worked as a teacher and began painting in the late 1960s, early 1970s. Over the years she has worked with a number of notable artists including Charles Reid, Lowell Ellsworth Smith and Richard (showing 500 of 3964 characters). |
