She died early Thursday, January 20th, 2005. Elsie graduated from Garfield High School (Seattle) in1938, and went on to graduate from the University of Washington with a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts. In the winter of 1942, while helping out at her parent's Second Avenue leather goods store, she met a dashing young Army Captain, Dr. Harry Weiner, who had sauntered in to buy a shaving kit. They had time (showing 500 of 1527 characters). |
