| Born in California in 1891. After graduating from UC, Wallace studied at the CSFA and Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris during the 1920s. In 1931 she taught interior decoration and watercolor painting at the Dominican College for Women in San Rafael. She was active in San Francisco in the 1930s with a studio-home on Russian Hill She was one of several younger artists who assisted Frank Van Sloun in painting murals in the rotunda of the Palace of Fine Arts in 1936.
