| | Born in Locust Hill, MO on Sept. 12, 1879. Wamsley studied at the Throop Institute (Pasadena), Beaux Arts Institute (NYC), AIC, and with Solon Borglum. After serving in WWI, he returned to Los Angeles where he was active until his death on Aug. 27, 1953. His specialties were fountains, garden and architectural sculpture. Member: Artland Club; Calif.
