Frank Chickering Warren attended Columbia University in New York City, where he was a member of the Delta Psi fraternity.  In 1912 he was living in Florence, Italy.  He was a landscape painter.

Biography from Albany Institute of History & Art:
Frank Chickering Warren (1866-1950), was the son of composer George William Warren (1828-1902), of Albany, NY., who was associated with artists G. H. Boughton (1833-1905), Frederic Edwin Church (1826-1900), Erastus Dow Palmer (1817-1904), and others, as well as a close friend of composer Louis Moreau Gottschalk (1829-1869).

Frank Chickering Warren was born in Brooklyn, NY and married Dorothy Parram (from Canada), 12/9/1908.  He graduated in 1886 from Columbia University, where his father was organist and lecturer.

He lived abroad for years, touring in France, Italy (Venice and Florence), and Algeria, and also had a solo exhibit of his work at Touchstone Galleries, 11 West Forty-seventh Street, NY, on April 5-17, 1920.

He had also spent two years in the American Ambulance Service in France during WWI receiving the Medaille d'Honneur for "distinguished service attending the wounded at the front" in November, 1917.

He is interred at Albany Rural Cemetery, Menands, NY.
