Following is an excerpt, courtesy of Frederic Dyer, from the obituary of Frederick Williams, which was written by his Harvard Class of 1850 classmate, Horatio Robinson Storer, M.D. and published in the "Harvard Graduates Magazine" (June 1915, page 676). Storer was Secretary of the Class of 1850 when Williams died.
