| | Born in NYC on March 28, 1901. Wiley studied in NYC at the ASL, NAD, Grand Central School of Art, and continued at the PAFA. By 1939 he had settled in San Francisco. He later tended a draw bridge for many years while painting in his leisure. In the late 1960s he retired to Placerville, CA where he remained until his demise on Nov. 26, 1974.
