Biography from Higgins Maxwell Gallery:
| Frederick Weygold (1870-1941) was a native of St. Charles, Missouri and was active in the Louisville Kentucky art scene in the 1920s and early 1930s. He studied art in Europe and at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts.
Weygold is best known for his paintings of and ethnological work among the Sioux Indians. |
