Painter. Born in San Francisco, CA on April 19, 1889.
Wolf grew up and attended public schools in his native city. He was introduced to art in the studio of Gertrude Boyle and later spent one year in Europe where he was greatly influenced by the French Impressionists.
A lifelong resident of California, about 1926 he moved south to Half Moon Bay where his grandparents had settled in 1846. As well as landscapes of that area and the Sierra Nevada, he also painted a series of (showing 500 of 943 characters). |
