| Gilbert Wilson was trained at Indiana State University. He also attended the Chicago Art Institute. Mr. Wilson was an apprentice to the mural painter and sculptor Eugene Savage NA. Wilson also attended Yale University in New Haven CT.
The artist was influenced by the works of E Savage,along with the Mexican muralists: Rivera,Orozco,Siqueros.
