Biography from Dixon-Hall Fine Art:
| Gladys Logan Winner is the granddaughter of the 19th Century Philadelphia genre painter, William Winner.
She appears in Mallet’s listing of artists and is recorded in the archives of the North Shore Art Association in East Gloucester, MA where she probably attended the Breckenridge School.
She also studied at the landscape school of the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in Chester Springs, PA circa 1910-15. |
