Harold Walker was a painter who worked both with oil and watercolor equally and artist favored nautical motifs for a good part of his artistic career. He also left behind a body of work that portrayed various still lifes and landscapes.
His water based works are filled with touches of light and color and are quite naturalistic.
Walker was born in Scotch Ridge, Ohio on November 6, 1890. He studied under many known teachers including Almon Whiting, Fredrick Trautman, and Ross Moffe (showing 500 of 881 characters). |
