| Born in Middletown, Connecticut on Dec. 7, 1878, Whedon moved to Pasadena in 1908 and relocated to San Francisco in 1920 where she was in the art department of the Chronicle. She studied at the CSFA under Oldfield, Randolph, and Boynton. During the 1940s she lived in NYC and Chicago in the 1950s.
She died in Burlingame, CA on July 22, 1958.
