| | Born in McKeesport, PA on June 13, 1885. Isobel Keil studied at Artzberger Art School in Allegheny, PA, the CCAC in Oakland, and with Hugh Breckenridge in Massachusetts. After her marriage to Arthur Wurtele, she settled in Los Angeles in the 1920s and remained there until her death on July 11, 1963. Her work includes landscapes of both East and West coasts, still lifes, and florals as well as mosaics. Exh: Chamber of Commerce (LA), 1927; Northshore AA (Gloucester, MA), 1929; Calif.
