Painter, etcher. Born in Pontiac, IL on Jan. 13, 1870.
An architect, Watson was a self-taught artist who resided in St Louis, MO from 1909-1927. He then retired to southern California to devote his remaining years to painting. A highly accomplished landscape painter, his watercolors and oils include scenes of the Sierra and the desert areas of southern California.
Watson was a resident of Glendale at 1663 Santa Rosa Avenue until his death on May 13, 1963.
