| | Born in Appleton, Wisconsin, she has a converted church studio and gallery in the small town of Lakewood, Wisconsin. She earned a BFA from the Art Institute of Chicago. Her wildlife painting is on wood, and she incorporates the grain of the wood into the work. Her husband prepares the specially found wood, and every finished piece is unique with knots and patterns. In her subject matter, she is particularly focused on endangered species. |
