| Julia Homer Wilson was born in Griffin, GA on September 23, 1910. Wilson studied at the Corcoran School of Art in Washington, DC and in London at the Salde School. She moved to Charleston, SC in the 1940s. Color prints of her Charleston scenes were widely distributed during the 1950s through the 1970s. She retired to California and died in Penn Valley, CA on October 6, 2001.
