| Born in Houston, MI on May 8, 1911. Williams graduated from high school in Alameda, CA and then attended the CSFA. Upon moving to Denver, he further studied at the Chappell House, an extension of the University of Colorado. He then worked with Pascal Quakenbush restoring the opera house in Central City, CO. While in Colorado, he worked with Charles Kassler in fresco work and continued with Kassler in California doing frescoes at the Los Angeles Main Public Library and Fullerton Jr. College.
