| A painter, muralist, and educator, he spent the early part of his career, 1928-1950, in New York state where he was professor of fine art at Cornell University in Ithaca. After that, he taught at San Mateo Junior College in San Mateo, California, and lived in San Carlos.
He was born in Franklinville, New York, and earned B.F.A. and M.F.A. degrees from Cornell University. He was a member of the American Watercolor Society. His work is in the IBM Collection, the U.S. Post Office at Binghamton, New York, and he exhibited at the Texas Centennial in 1934. |
