A painter and art dealer specializing in contemporary art, Kirk Wilkinson spent much of his career in New York City but also lived at Wellfleet, Massachusetts. He studied watercolor painting at the Parson's School of Design, with Felice Waldo Howell, and from 1931 to 1932 taught graphics at Parson's.
He served in New York City as art director at Country Life, American Home Magazine, (1935-36); House Beautiful Magazine, New York, 1936-37; for Condé Nast, 1937-39 (showing 500 of 1397 characters). |
