Residing in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Lael Weyenberg is a still-life
painter. She was born in Kelowna, British Columbia and raised in
Washington state. She hand-painted hats for Nordstoms, and worked
as a floral designer before moving to Santa Fe in order to dedicate
herself to painting full-time.
Lael creates simple arrangements, often of one or two objects and
captures them with rich color, plentiful oil paint and brushwork
