The following, submitted August 2004, is from the artist, whose studio is in New York City.
I was born in Germany in 1953, and our family moved back to Los Angeles 4 years later. I showed an early interest in drawing and from age 7 on took regular lessons, some private, some later with adult life-drawing classes. When I was 13, we moved down to Newport Beach, where I graduated from high school. I did my undergraduate studies from 1970-72 in fine arts at the University of California at San (showing 500 of 23376 characters). |
