| Lillias Jaquines Waddell was born in Clymer, NY on December 18, 1888. Lillias married Charles Waddell in 1910.
By 1915 she had moved to Los Angeles where her husband was a professor at UCLA.
She died there on March 30, 1947. Her Sierra landscapes and coastal scenes are similar to those of her teacher Marion Kavanagh Wachtel.
