| | Born in Indianapolis, IN on June 15, 1868. Willits moved to San Francisco in 1890. After the eartquake of 1906, she moved across the bay to Oakland and commuted daily to a studio in San Francisco. A spinster, she later was a typist for Western Union after moving down the peninsula to Burlingame.
