Lynn Clark Winans 1897-1982 California Painters: Landscapes, Seascapes
Lynn Clark Winans was born in Michigan on April 30, 1897. Winans spent most of his artistic career in San Diego, California. He specialized in painting plein air images of California landscapes and seascapes.
While living in San Diego he made frequent trips to the desert area near Palm Springs. His works were exhibited widely in the San Diego area. Winans died in San Diego on July 7, 1982.
