Artist's Statement and Biography
The focus of my painting is the natural world. My personal focus is that I paint what I see; what I observe first hand. For me, this is the only way to convey my experiences to others. I do not paint from a photograph of a place or a subject I have never seen or personally experienced. I feel the depth and emotion of the subject is not fully realized unless I have personally studied it. My goal is to convey a sense of place in my paintings. (showing 500 of 1427 characters). |
