| She studied at the Santa Barbara Museum and the Fashion Academy in San Francisco. In 1940 she moved to Portland, Oregon where she remained until her demise in 1990. Working in charcoal, oil and watercolor, she produced portraits and landscapes. Exhibited: American Artists Professional League, 1940 (first prize); Oregon Society of Artists, 1940-47; Oregon State Fair, 1947 (first premium); Northwest Watercolor Society, 1948, 1952. | Source: Edan Hughes, "Artists in California, 1786-1940"
