| | Born in Oakland, CA on March 30, 1914. After graduating from the CCAC in 1935, Wong studied at Cornell University, Mexico City College, and the University of Dublin. She then returned to her native city and taught in the public schools until 1940. From that time she worked in the San Francisco Bay area as a freelance artist and designer. After 1978 she was a member of the faculty at Vista College active as an artist at her home in Berkeley until her death on Jan. 12, 2002.
