This biography from the Archives of AskART:
Born in Berkeley, CA on Oct. 13, 1907. Wrightson studied with Frank M. Fletcher in Santa Barbara after graduating from UC Berkeley (M.A). She was a resident of San Francisco in the 1930s and assistant to Bernard Zakheim on his UC Medical Center work. Following completion of the murals, she married Zakheim in 1941. She moved to Santa Barbara in 1961 and remained until her demise on June 20, 1998. Exh: GGIE, 1939; SFAA, 1940.
