Richard W. Walsh is recognized for his portraits, landscapes, marine scenes and still lifes in watercolors and in oils. He maintained a studio in Mountainside, New Jersey for many years and resided in nearby Westfield. Walsh was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1916. He attended New York University, the Art Student's League and the Famous Artist's School.He studied portraiture with Lajos Markos and watercolor with Ferdinand Petrie. Walsh was a veteran of the United States Air Force (showing 500 of 2182 characters). |
