Much of his art, both painting and sculpture, is based on his "thoughts and improvisations," and rooted in classical themes. A native of Luxembourg, Weimerskirch received his art education from the Academie Royale des Beaux Arts de la Ville de Bruxelles and the Academia di Belli Arti Brera, Milan.
