Roger Winter was born in Denison, Texas, in 1934. He received a BFA in art from The University of Texas, studying with painters Everett Spruce and Loren Mozely. After obtaining an MFA in painting from The University of Iowa, Winter taught painting and drawing at Southern Methodist University for 26 years.
Since leaving Dallas, he has taught at The University of Pennsylvania, Washington University, Vermont Studio Center, and at New York's National Academy School. He has had over (showing 500 of 1592 characters). |
