| Active in Akron, Ohio, Roy Wilhelm was a landscape and marine painter who studied in Cleveland with Emile Gruppe, Elmer Novotny, and Henry Keller.
He was a member of the Akron Society of Artists, North Shore Art Association, Buffalo Society of Artists, and the Ohio Watercolor Club. Most of his exhibiting was in the 1930s and 1940s. |
