This biography from the Archives of AskART:
| A resident of Stratford, Wisconsin, she combines her career of wildlife painting with running a dairy farm operation with her husband. She has become a frequent exhibitor at the 1999 "Birds in Art" exhibit at the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum in Wausau, Wisconsin.
She studied with Canadian wildlife artist Robert Bateman and was one of the few students who received a personal scholarship from him. A device she learned from him was to incorporate visual pathways into her work--to lead the eye of the viewer.
Her gallery representation has been Koerten Gallery in Stevens Point, Wisconsin; Rocky Run Art in Edgar, Wisconsin; and Water Street Gallery in Ephraim, Wisconsin. |
