From a studio in the shadow of Taos Mountain, she paints the Sangre de Cristo Mountain landscape that gives her a sense of stability in a life that has been filled with drama and change.
She was born and raised in Nagoya, Japan, and her father was an architectect and her mother had studied law before becoming a wife and mother. Her father was killed during World War II, and her mother married an American soldier and the family moved with him to Lebanon, Ohio. Her meeting with a young man (showing 500 of 1704 characters). |
