| | Born in Idaho on Nov. 9, 1901. Wade began painting when a young child. While studying at Otis Art Institute in Los Angeles during 1936-39, she won three faculty awards. Although wheel-chair bound, she made her living as a portrait artist with Universal-International Studios. Her works won over 40 awards in southern California shows. A spinster, she died in Tarzana, CA on Oct. 3, 1979. Exh: San Fernando Valley Art Club, 1948 (1st prize).
