Thomas Hanford Wentworth - painter, miniaturist, lithographer, and engraver - was born on March 15, 1781 in Norwalk, CT and died on December 18, 1849 in Oswego, NY. He is especially remembered for his miniature, folk-style profile portraits but also produced many aquatint engravings, lithographs, and landscape paintings. His listed addresses are Utica, NY in 1815 (Mantle Fielding) and, from 1806 to 1849 (showing 500 of 1695 characters). |
