| | Born in Newton, KS on Oct. 26, 1890. Wanda married Forest C. Walden in 1914. The couple lived in Kansas City and St Louis before settling in San Diego in 1929. She and her husband often spent summers at their cabin in Colorado. Inspired by the scenery there, she became interested in painting. In San Diego she studied under Everett Gee Jackson. Mrs. Walden died in Los Angeles on Feb. 3, 1985.
