Annie G. Young was a neighbor and close friend of Caroline Bell, her mentor and leader of the Peconic Bay Impressionists. She accompanied the group on painting excursions along the North Fork and at Gloucester, Massachusetts. A charter member of the Old Town Arts & Crafts Guild in Cutchogue, Annie Young also participated in exhibitions at the Suffolk Museum at Stony Brook, Parrish Art Museum and Guild Hall in East Hampton.
