David Yorke's painterly style for portraiture and landscapes developed over his 30 year career as a commercial illustrator. His realistic work portrays traditional Native American and Pioneer life, executed primarily in oil.
His interest and appreciation for the American West began shortly after graduating from college, during a trip through several southwestern states. The dramatic scenery and colorful history of the area was so different from what he has experienced growing up in so (showing 500 of 1942 characters). |
