The following is supplied by Chuck Reynolds who quotes his 87 year old mother in law and 93 year old father in law.
"Around 1951 Jack came to our little community church in Yacolt, Washington as a supply pastor. He would illustrate his Bible stories with chalk drawings, and his sermons put my dearest and closest friend under deep conviction. But our church was not large enough to pay him enough to support his wife and family so he would sell his paintings to (showing 500 of 940 characters). |
