This biography from the Archives of AskART:
| Jeannine Young began her interest in sculpture as a young child. The artist sculpts animals and the human figure using stone, wood, steel and clay. Young's forms are a study of simplicity.
The artist's influences include the artists Henry Moore and Barbara Hepworth as well as the rugged beauty of the landscape around her home in Utah.
