Joseph Louis Young (b. 1919-d. 2007)
A native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he graduated from Westminster College and the Boston Museum School of Fine Arts, then did further studies at Cranbrook Academy, MIT, and the American Academy in Rome.
Young has created works in many media, including mosaic, stained glass, pre-cast concrete, granite, and wood. More than 60 of his architectural art projects are found throughout the country, including mosaics at the National Shrine of th (showing 500 of 5141 characters). |
