|  A former Olympic athlete, Larry Young is a sculptor of bronze medals and monumental abstract metal sculpture. One of his pieces, "Hope for Life," a 33 foot stainless work, is at the Stowers Institute for Medical Research in Kansas City, Missouri.
As an Olympic champion, Young was the only sculptor to earn a medal in long-distance walking and was named one of the outstanding track and field stars of the 20th century. |
