Meira Yedidsion is painter, sculptor, installation artist, multimedia artist, and computer artist. Her works are in the permanent collection of different museums and have been exhibited including: Skirball Museum, Los Angeles; The Museum of Modern Art, New York; Detroit’s Museum of New Art ; The Museum of Cartujia, Spain; Fuller Museum of Art, Massachusetts.
Since 1980, her work has been exhibited worldwide in over 280 exhibitions including: “Art and Cinema”, in conjunction with 60th Venice Film Festival, Biennial of Venice, Italy; 2002 FIFA World Cup Korea Japan, Seoul; Seville Universal Exhibition, Art Pavilion, Spain; Baltimore Museum of Art, Baltimore; Palazzo Valentini, Rome; Smith College Museum of Art, Massachusetts; The Sharjah Arts Museum, Sharjah; Israel Museum, Jerusalem; Hameelina Art Museum, Finland; Museo De La Ciudad, Mexico; Museum of Chung HakDae, Ansung-si, Korea; Museum of the National Center of African American Artists, Massachusetts; Southeast Museum, Brewster, New York; Fort Collins Museum of Art, Colorado; Inner Mongolia Museum of Fine Arts, China; Bank of America Main, Beverly Hills; UNESCO, Paris, and others.

Meira Yedidsion’s biography has been published in different editions of Who’s Who in the American Art, Who’s Who in America, Who's Who in the World, and Who's Who of American Women. Her biography is published in the book of One Thousand Greats, 2000 Outstanding Intellectuals of the 21st Century; and Great Lives of the 21st Century; by International Biographical Centre, Cambridge, England. Yedidsion's biography is also published in the edition of Great Minds of the 21st Century, by American Biographical Institute.
Numerous television and radio documentaries on her art, and interviews with her, have been aired both on various European and American television and radio broadcasts and news program.
Meira Yedidsion was selected as "Woman of the Year" for Art in 1992 by the President of the Regional Council of Rome and Lazio, and received the International Award of "La Mimosa". In 2004, she has been selected as the “Woman of the Year”, by the American Biographical Institute. In 1998, she received the "Proclamation of City of Los Angeles - State of California", from the Mayor, on her solo exhibition "The Suspended Room".
In 1987, Meira was invited by the University of Bari, in Italy, to give a presentation on her art at a conference entitled, “Civilization, Art and Peace in the Mediterranean”. One of her art pieces illustrated a book of poetry, which was published in Greek and Italian in 1988.
Meira’s works express humanitarian and spiritual concepts. Yedidsion has created new psychological spiritual humane aesthetic universes in arts. Since 1979, she has created and exhibited different series of works dedicated to the concept of peace; anti-war and top guns; reflections on the conflicts of western and underdeveloped countries; the world of depression; and to honour the memory of the victims of war and terrorism.
Meira Yedidsion was born in Tehran, Iran. She received her Master Degree in Fine Arts from University of Tehran, Faculty of Fine Arts, Tehran, Iran, and the Master Degree in Fine Arts from Academy of Fine Arts in Rome. She was the First Winner of University Entrance Exam and the Scholarship Award of the University of Tehran, Faculty of Fine Arts.
She is also American and Italian citizen, and lives and works in Beverly Hills.
