| | Born in Santa Rosa, CA on April 27, 1916. Youker was painting by 1928. She studied at Mills College, CSFA, and became the first woman to graduate from Stanford's School of Engineering. She then was a designer of tools for TRW in Long Beach. Her name was Derian at the time of her death in Escondido, CA on Dec. 28, 1999. | Source:
