| Painter, William A. Youngblood currently lives in Powhatan, Virginia and was born in 1915 at Sweetwater, Tennessee. After serving as a nature artist and architectural draftsman for the National Park Service, he became art director at several ad agencies and corporations. In 1971, he became a full-time artist and a member of the American Watercolor Society, and signature member of the Georgia and Virginia Watercolor Societies. He has taken best in show at many regional juried shows along the East (showing 500 of 1037 characters). |
